1. The promoter
Predict & Win is run by Lobi Stars Football Club ("the club"), McCarthy Stadium, Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria. Contact: info@lobistarsfc.com, 0903 039 9416.
2. Who can enter
- Entry is free. No purchase is necessary.
- You must be 18 or older and resident in Nigeria.
- You need a free Lobi Stars fan account with a confirmed email address. Each person may have only one account.
- Club staff, players and members of their families cannot win. Accounts flagged by the club as staff or players are excluded from winning.
3. How to enter
- Predict & Win runs for Lobi Stars home games only.
- Predictions open 24 hours before the scheduled kick-off and close at kick-off (or earlier if the match kicks off early). All times are taken from the club's server clock in Nigerian time; the time shown on your own device does not count.
- Enter the exact final score for both teams (0 to 20 goals each) on the match's Matchday Live page and confirm it.
- One entry per person per home game. Once submitted, a prediction cannot be changed or withdrawn.
- The club records the exact time each prediction is received, to the millisecond.
4. Winning
- The final score is the score at the end of normal time as entered by the club after the final whistle (extra time and penalties, if any, do not count).
- The winner is the entrant who predicted the exact final score. If more than one entrant predicted it, the one whose prediction was received first wins.
- The prize is ₦10,000 per home game, for one winner.
- If nobody predicts the exact score, nobody wins and the prize is not given out for that game. It does not roll over to another game.
- If a match is postponed, abandoned or cancelled, the club may void predictions for that match.
5. Announcing and collecting the prize
- The winner is shown on the match's Matchday Live page after full time as their first name, the initial of their surname and a partly hidden phone number (for example "Terna A. – 0803****21"). Full email addresses and phone numbers are never published.
- The club will call the winner on the phone number registered on their fan account and email them to arrange collecting the prize from the club. The winner may be asked to show identification matching their account.
- The club will never ask for your password, card PIN or bank details through the website.
6. Season Prediction League
- Every Predict & Win entry also counts towards the season's Prediction League. You do not need to enter separately.
- When the club enters a home game's final score, each entry earns 3 points for the exact score or 1 point for the correct result (home win, draw or away win) without the exact score. Other entries earn 0 points.
- The table ranks fans by points. Ties are broken first by the number of exact scores (more is better), then by the earliest average submission time: on average, how soon after predictions opened the fan sent their predictions.
- The table shows each fan's first name and the initial of their surname, their points, exact scores and predictions made. Your own position is shown on your fan account.
- Disqualified entries, accounts flagged as club staff or players, and deleted accounts do not appear in the table.
- The season follows the club's football season. The per-game ₦10,000 prize in section 4 is not affected by the league.
- If the club offers an end-of-season prize, it will be announced on the league page and these terms will be updated first.
7. Disqualification
The club may disqualify any entry it reasonably believes involves fraud, more than one account per person, false details, automated entries or any breach of these terms. If a winning entry is disqualified, the next earliest correct entry wins.
8. General
- The club's decision on all matters relating to Predict & Win is final.
- The club may change, suspend or end Predict & Win at any time, for example for legal or technical reasons. Changes do not affect entries already made for a match unless required by law.
- Your personal data is used as described in our Privacy Policy.
