Lobi Stars FC wants every supporter to be able to follow the club, buy tickets, order food and get in touch, whatever device they use and whatever their ability. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What the website does
- Keyboard: every page can be used without a mouse. A Skip to content link is the first thing on each page, and the item in focus is clearly outlined.
- Screen readers: pages use proper headings, labelled buttons and form fields, and descriptions for photos. Live updates (scores, order status) are announced.
- Text and colour: text can be enlarged with your browser or phone settings without breaking the page, and text colours are chosen to be readable.
- Phones: the site works on small screens, with large buttons and a menu bar at the bottom.
- Less movement: if your device is set to reduce motion, animations are switched off.
- Slow connections: pages are kept light and pictures are made smaller for phones. If you lose your connection, the website app shows a clear "You're offline" message.
- Language: the website is in English.
What we are still improving
- Some videos (for example match highlights from YouTube) may not have captions yet.
- Some PDF documents (such as matchday programmes) may not be fully readable by screen readers. Ask us and we will send the information in another format.
- Pages from other services we link to (such as Paystack for payments, Jumia for the shop, YouTube and WhatsApp) are not run by the club, so their accessibility is outside our control.
- The human check on some forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) is designed to work without puzzles; if it stops you, contact us and we will help.
